On a personal note, I thought I'd share a few photos from Thommy's first birthday. We had a fun, lowkey celebration yesterday that involved a blue paper crown and a banana "cake"! Can you tell from the first photo that this was a bright and early birthday party?

Ah.. he has your eyes I think! Quiet birthdays are the best! My best new year celebration ever was when we went to bed early with the new baby in between us..

Congratulations to you to Maeg. I remember the first year of both my kids lives as being very intensive. I think you've produced some wonderful artwork this year and when reminded you did it all whilst raising your sweet boy I am twice as impressed by what you've achieved!
